Abstract deadline is 23 December 2006.
The abstract submission is only possible via website after Conference registration.
The abstract should have a maximum of 2,500 characters (one page, A4 standard). It is possible to include one figure or one table, reducing the number of characters to fit the page. The title should have a maximum of 255 characters.
The final program and the abstract book will be provided to participants at the Conference and will be also available on the Conference website before the Conference date.
Participants are asked to prepare their papers based on the below guidelines. The articles will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
Please note: Authors of symposia contributions should submit a short paper of maximum 6 pages (figures and tables included). Participants to workshops can present an oral contribution at the conference and submit a short paper (not mandatory). Plenary lecture Authors can choose to submit a short or a long paper.
Proceedings of the conference will be published as a special issue of Avocetta (link). Avocetta is the Official Journal of the Italian Center of Ornithological Studies - CISO Centro Italiano Studi Ornitologici, and it publishes original articles, short notes and reviews on all aspects of ornithology, with particular reference to the ecology, ethology and biogeography of Mediterranean and Alpine avifauna.
Deadline
The proceeding papers should be sent in electronic format via e-mail at the address ebcc2007@faunaviva.it before the conference date. Authors might however submit their works (both electronic and paper format) during the Conference directly to the desk staff (deadline: 22 April 2007). For papers submitted after the Conference date the Editors retain the right to publish only the abstracts of the works.
