| Conference Field Trip |
On Friday 20 April there will be a pause of the scientific program and some all-day long excursions are planned: four ornithological excursions and one cultural excursion.
The planned excursions are (click on them for further information):
- Orobie Valtellinesi Park (Val Gerola)
- Stelvio National Park
- Natural Reserve of Pian di Spagna and Lago di Mezzola
- Tracciolino (Val Codera - Valle dei Ratti)
- Guided visit to Chiavenna city and surroundings
Every excursion is intended for a maximum number of 50 people; it is possible to book the excursion in advance sending an e-mail to the Conference Secretariat (ebcc2007@faunaviva.it), writing in the text the name of the chosen excursion and the exact number of participants. The excursion registration it will be also possible at the desk at the arrive or during the Conference, until the reach of the maximum number of people.
Please note: A packed lunch (included in the Conference fee and provided by the Conference organization) will be provided; Bus transportation from and to the excursion departure point (included in the Conference fee) will be provided for the ornithological excursions. the additional costs of the museum and the ancient palace entrance will be paid by the participants of the guided visit of Chiavenna.
Who wants to extend the Italian stay or arrive some day before the Conference time, can contact the local official Tourist Agency, that can help you to organize the accommodation.
